its the whole idea of the camper (so I was thought to believe at least) It saves money on expensive food stops - we usually bring some snacks on board for the ferry. Kim doesn't usually eat much as she feels sea sick when the boat is docked
Did have a good experience when we took the Ferry to Roscoff. We got off the ferry about 5am so had 3 hours kip and woke up with some German guy in his T25 cooking breakfast and making a brew. We shared stories, we got the crusty bread out - which he loved - who wouldn't after German bread

He made the coffee and then we swapped local beers (to drink later of course).
