Thanks for that, we eat in the van once checked in at Dover and in the lanes and other than a newspaper and some cigs for The Boss it's just transport. We don't hang round the port at either end if we can help it, too full of bloody tourists

The best part of the service was it got us to France cheaply
Only reason we use it. Cheap as chips.

its the whole idea of the camper (so I was thought to believe at least) It saves money on expensive food stops - we usually bring some snacks on board for the ferry. Kim doesn't usually eat much as she feels sea sick when the boat is docked
Did have a good experience when we took the Ferry to Roscoff. We got off the ferry about 5am so had 3 hours kip and woke up with some German guy in his T25 cooking breakfast and making a brew. We shared stories, we got the crusty bread out - which he loved - who wouldn't after German bread
He made the coffee and then we swapped local beers (to drink later of course).

Good choice doctor am going down near la rochel end of july ferry from portsmouth to cherbourg staying at camping and carravaning site cant wait.
