Re: split charge
Good price....might be a little overkill but better more than less.
50amps plus, relay, cabling, fuse holder and terminals...fuse slightly less (40 amps?) for single 100amp/hour leisure.
Just bare in mind if you are determined to go 100 amps for the whole circuit, then you are talking very large core (around 8mm diameter cabling)

Re: split charge
Easy enough to fit. Only tedious bits (if both batteries will be under seats) is routing across and getting terminals on to cables. Mine had the plastic heating duct on the floor (caravelle) so I ran it across underneath it. Alternative is down through floor and across. Mine is 100amp too. Not sure I'd want to go less than that.

In case you need it: https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Ca ... it_charger" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I actually run without fuses in the split charge circuit. I'm sure some will frown upon it but its all heavy duty stuff, everything fixed down tight and had no probs whatoever. Might be a different story if I was using poor components though. For anyone building their own, the 40amp relays are ok, but avoid the cheap/cheaper ones where you can easily remove the cover (like you can on some indicator relays). A decent one should be a moulded piece in my view.

Re: split charge
Interesting thoughts on heavy relay and wiring setups.....if you think about it, a battery dead short or similar catastrophic failure is going to need that fuse even more otherwise you risk battery explosion or fire. On a lesser setup the fuse is going to blow, the relay/fuse holder might melt, something is going to give preventing very high amp welding/explosion taking place. I suggest you need a fused system more than ever given that the wiring and relay isn't going to give.
