
When I removed the rubber shroud it was very wet inside so I'm assuming that something is wrong.

Having scoured the Haynes manual I think that this may be a temperature sensor for the inlet manifold heater, is this correct? If it isn't working due to the water leakage what effect would this have on the running of the engine?
I have a 1.9 DG WBX engine with a Pierburg 2E3 carb.
I'm guessing this sensor may need to be refitted and if so , it probably makes sense to replace it, can anyone tell from the picture whether this is the correct item that I should order from Mr Baxter please?
