Fuel filter

Post by very_bland »

Changing the fuel filter, can I just clamp the hoses from the tank and to the pump rather than draining the system?

Also, where is the filter in the carb? It is not mentioned in the manual!

( 2l AC )

Cheers,
Billy

pull off the tank side and push a pencil in the pipe end

then swap the filter over

the other side won't matter

Now why couldn't I find this?

Thanks a lot edoh! Am I likely to have the same Pierburg carb on my Aircooled?

The problems CovKid experienced after running out of fuel are exactly the same as mine (I did the same!)

is there any identifying name/model on the carb you can see?
