Gauges

Post by sunny »

Interested in getting hold of some dials to monitor things like engine temp, revs, oil pressure, battery etc. I have an Aircooled so not sure how to see engine temp?? But the others should be OK

Anyone using any gauges and have any advice on whats best to use?

Cheers

usually the cylinder head temp is the most important one taken .. around 350f is average
there are kits you can get that take the temp from the plug seat
similar to this..

revs are taken from the blue wire on the coil

battery is a simple potentiometer

oil pressure is from the under cylinders 3 & 4 There's already a switch there
