
Mind you, you could turn on the gas ring for initial warm up too. Does steam up windows though

The lad who I bought my van off had one of these. He offered to give it me when I bought the van. After a quick search of the house he remembered he'd binned it coz it was an absolute waste of time. The only way to do it properly is to go down the Webasto / Eberspacher / Propex route I'm afraid. I think you swallowed the hype mate.
300 watts is no more than a security light bulb.
Another fella on here did the same, so your not the first.
save your money up and get a propex.
