carb choke probs
hi guys, newbie on here. recently purchaced an 2ltr cu engine code tintop. It has what looks like a twin choke weber however i cant find a manafacturer name on it, the choke unit seems to have been disconected. It has the unit where the bi metalic coil is but im yet to check if its in there. The feed for it is not there and im not sure where it should come from? possibly a constant feed from the coil or should it have a switched feed from somewhere? any help would be great. cheers

Re: carb choke probs
Some twin choke webers just have a blanking plate where the choke normally goes. Mine has the chokes attatched but I havn't connected them as they are manually operated and running a cable from front to rer just seems a bit too much!
(Must find a way to operate them electronically sometime!).
Some webers don't have a name on them, mine doesn't but there is a model number at the base of the carb just above the inlet manifold. (Hard to see though!)
If you can post up a piccy it would be a great help. Help in our Wiki if needed here..
