Hi Neil
Cheque received, many thanks.
I phoned that number - it's a pre-recorded message detailing activity on the ranges, at the moment only covers that periiod 14 -21 August.
It appears any lanes out of bounds because of military activity will have red flags either end.
Another thing to be borne in mind is that there are many tracks on the Plain that are not marked on the OS map so it will be essential that each group has a least one person with GPS/Memory Maps to make sure of the groups exact position.

I have started to do some research too on lanes and have been plotting some on MemoryMap trying to avoid 'danger areas'.

Well I was hoping to make it for the day on the 29th, but even that isn't going to happen now, as I'm going to have to a fit a new radiator instead!!! Joy. I spotted a tiny bit of weeping Today on the existing one, and promtly ordered a replacment from Baxter. (I'm gonna be driving to Biarritz and back in a couple of weeks, and not sorting it would have been pushing my luck too much me thinks).

Have a good one y'all :ok

This newsletter is worth reading:

http://www.collingbourne-ducis.com/SPTA ... 009%20.pdf

It gives details of military training activity during August.
