I want both servo and lamp switch. Can you guy tell me where I can find it or shop's e-mail.
It would be great if someone here could offer the part to me.

Actually, my bus comes with front and rear diff-lock. I dont know the front will work or not.

Thanks,
PAT

The front should work, notethat the plunger is a shorter length part at the front... but when they seize up they really 'seize up!!'

Lube inside where the light switch fits (tell-tale light) with copious WD40 while freeing up pushrod movement

1) Allow oil to weep out (don't replace O-ring )

2a) Rubber hose, ID to suit sleeve boss, cut to length (longer), drive roll-pin through rubber!
2b) Rubber hose, ID to suit sleeve boss, cut to length (shorter), push back to vac servo, fit roll-pin and slide hose back over ally sleeve

3) VW Overlapping rubber hoses?

4) Flexible (convoluted) hose/boot

5) Hose split lengthwise, cable tied at each end or held by larger dia short hose slid into place centrally

Careful not to break the servo's pushrod.
Can fill hoses with grease or not

Suggestion(s) Pat :)

There is alwasy good discussion about he best or easiest way to do this.. out of the several options

Aidan hopefully will give his opinion on the easiest solution, I believe Russel once said he uses a single length of well-fitting hose and as it covers the boss when all is fitted, dowelling the pushrod requires driving the roll-pin through the hose.. sounds difficult to me, but then it must be possible.

One thing, don't tighten the long M5 set screws in the bracket until the puchrod is dowelled in place. It needs a bit of slop to align itself. It is a bit easy to break the 'reduced' end of the pushrod off. The roll-pins are 3mm dia. I think and the pushrod needs to fully inserted before driving rollpin in.

NB. Another method (easier) is to 'split' the hose lengthwise, and cable tie it in place at each end, and even use a shorter section of hose over the top to keep it closed.. sliding the short larger dia piece into position centrally once the roll-pin is in place
