I have a T25 Vanagon Westfalia 1991 1.6 Turbo Diesel LHD.
The exhaust fitted look to have a cat converter.
I am struggling to mount the exhaust properly. When I got the van the exhaust was already on it, however there were no mounting brackets fixed to the exhaust. I have been to GSF and bought 2 rubber mounts however there seems to be 2 other brackets required to fit properly. Can anyone send some pictures of how to mount the exhaust and which brackets I need.

Re: Exhaust Mounting Question
In this picture (thanks for who's ever thread this came from) I need one of the brackets (the rusty one) that are to the left in this photo. I also need to know if it connects directly to the exhaust or onto another rubber mount then to the exhaust?
Does anyone have a picture of the opposite side mounting brackets. I have both the brackets but need to know how they connect back together? Does this side also use 2 mounting rubbers or just one etc etc.
Please help.

Re: Exhaust Mounting Question
Can anyone tell me if the rusty part with the 2 silver nuts connected is the actual exhaust or a piece that connects to the exhaust?

Try VW?
or second hand
Number 28 is a "retaining panel" VW Part No 033 251 375 for a 1991 JX 1.6
