Carb electrical connections
I`ve tried,I`ve really tried
but I can`t suss out where the wire for the bypass air cut off valve goes to on my van.Its an 1985 1.9 DG with the Pierburg 2E3.

All things being equal what colour wires have you got spare that should be connected to the carb shut off vales ?

There are 4 wires in the carb area 3 black 1 red.The red goes to manifold pre heat element,2 of the black wires (throttle channel pre heat and choke) are joined to each other and then to the red further up.Leaving 1black wire connected to the bypass cut off valve thingy.The loose end of which does reach anywhere near anything
