Combes... are they more strict on kph speedo's on the mot in ireland, as my lhd van passed the mot several years running with a kph speedo over here in the uk mainland? i just have strips of fluro orange stick on label at the relevant 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 mph points on mine. (checked with a satnav)
these speedo's can be altered at will with an electric drill and bit of suitable rubber tubing to drive the square shaft round, if you have the time, though obviously not to lie about the vehicles true milage, just for replacing a knackrd one and matching the old ones true reading.
