hi Binka, Might be worth trying a wanted ad in your local gumtree or freeads paper. A friend of mine managed to find a driveway for his boat for £10 a month from a little old lady in a bungalow via gumtree.

Alex's mum n dad use a compound for their renault camper. they pay £250 a year for it. They did however have problems with mice getting in over the winter! if you do put it in the compound be sure to block all the holes up!!

i pay £20 per month for 6 months over the winter in a farmers barn and SORN the van saving 6 months car tax - so actually works out reasonable

That's what I'd like to do, I don't know where to find a willing farmer though.

As for the driveway, could you knock down a wall? I mean on purpose, not with the van.

u know the awning u bought from us?...its missing the poles for holding the door open in the summer..we found them after u went, Mr CC pm'd the wrong geezer :roll: ... u want them?

I pay £6 a week for a garage about 100 yards from where I live. For the peace of mind it gives me its a bargain and the reduction in my insurance policy subsidises what I pay too :ok

Me? Wrong geezer again i think, I bought the awning from someone else (still haven't got it up -ooer- so don't know about missing poles).

i am a plank....grrr i cant remember the chaps name and i got awning poles for him :(
