hello,this is my first message to 80/90,please be gentle with me if my questions seem stupid,
I was 'given' a 1980 devon moonraker with no engine.the previous owner has gone walkabout somewhere
and I do not have a logbook,does anybody know what is involved in getting one.the guy used to
work in the unit next to us and has vanished,do not know his address either',will put some photos
on if I can figure how to do it from iphoto(mac),hope someone can help,many thanks

im sure if you ring dvla up on monday with the reg and chassis number(on the drivers door pillar) they will advise.......and welcome

Air cooled or water cooled?

like does it have a radiator?
just an engine required or a gearbox too?

thanks for the replies,the van is an Aircooled,the previous owner started to do it up,painted it,stonechipped,looks good from 10feet
it has been filled by fuel filler and not rubbed down as I would do it so dont know what it its really like under the recent paint
the sliding door is rotten at the bottom,never done bodywork before,trouble is it is at work so I cant really nip out and play with it
while the other half is watching telly,will get something sorted out though
