Post by tonysbus »

What kind of mpg should i expect in a westy hightop with a 1.9 TD and does it foul the engine lid . Thinking of converting from a petrol.

i get about 30 - 34 mpg depending on driving conditions and the engine lid needs moding over the pump by raising it about 20mm.

you don't need to raise the whole lid just cut out a hole above fuel pump and make a raised section out of thin sheet metal or glass fibre
