As ever, Thomas denies anyone benefit of the doubt... and just ribs/jibes and belittles anyone with a comment or question that doesnt fit with his accepted thought..

It was suggested that some comparisons of the different tyres would be of benefit to everyone.. and it seems that some very good opinions (constructive) have been said and I havent been discussing it with ant authority as I dont know very little about off road tyres.

As for being a "keyboard warrior".. tosh and piffle.. you should sit down before you start spewing solids from where you are talking out of..

Its been said before..
This is a forum for sharing knowledge and asking questions, those that can answer without sounding dissmisive and arrogant will be read with interest..

Your sad routine of arrogantly attacking anything and anyone that doesnt conform to "hell's law" is really boring me...

tyres definately help! but confidence in your own ability (not frightened to bash the van) are all as important. i did coney farm the first time in my doka with tyres which were mostly for the road and did quite well if i remember correctly!

I would imagine its a balance of driver, machine, sense and capabilities, that balance comes with time and experience. Its easy to scoff at the mud-virgins, just give them time and a chance.

Nice sig Marcus....hope it's not referring to my pristine example of a van..... :P

Marcus - you are in fact a great driver who is completely fearless - but the vehicle for you is a MOD TRIALER.....not a chuffing great van on road tyres!

I've never driven the Syncro on anything other than Macho's - so I have no bl00dy idea whatsoever - nor has anyone else been brave enough to let me drive their Syncro.....except Terry, and that was on the road, so it doesn't count.....hoping to get it on road tyres for general driving imminently though... :D

Sideways slides wouldn't be so hair raising if we knew you were wearing a helmet and we could just push you back upright afterwards....

I know of one for sale for about £750.

It's been thoroughly previously enjoyed, but has a lot of enjoyment left in it.....

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience
