The tan (and probably only the tan ) appears to be original. A healthy orange glow created by the hot Californian sun ... NOT the Poundland homejaffa spray kit as used by 'The Lovely Debbie McGee'

Thanks for all the replies,it seems people went off on a tangent a bit by the last post(I am not complaining. I am sure Jessica Simpson would look very nice all covered in years of gunk & stuff off the bottom of my T25) I have managed to get the pump off,I only snapped one bolt off holding the thermostat hosing to the water pump. Which hasn't caused too many problems. The water pump came quite easily in the end,it was just a case of getting at the nuts & alan heads?(isn't that near Hexham?) I've taken the bottom metal water pipe off, which has gone porous. I might get a away with braising it unless anyone knows where I might be able to get one?

T'is indeed a place near Hexham. As for the bottom metal pipe, I don't think they're available as a new part from anywhere now, but an ad. in the wanted section on here might produce a spare, just in case your repair fails at a later date.

Looking for: window apertures for side windows, at the back of the van
T25; 1985; RHD; 1.9DG petrol / LPG; white Autosleeper high-top; Looking rusty again!
Might be worth asking at your local vw parts dept. though because vagcat.com still lists a price (€38.45) and part number (025121151) for it. Googling the part number also brings up other possible suppliers.
