Also bent LT arms a bit to get them as close to same angle as syncro arms going into mounts... and same spacing.... with no tension on them.... before final mounting. That's why I traced the syncro arm and mount spacing from some real syncro mirrors.
'fraid I rushed into a bit else would've done a bit of reesurch like that, will revisit that problem sometime..
No-one else owned up to getting bad nightime speedo reflections then? Maybe my driverside mirror needs putting biggest side outwards, as it also obscures oncoming in tight l/h corners
I can see the digi clock and red band on the rev counter in the mirror if don't dim the backlights on dark roads, (actual reflection is on the window but its in line with the mirror) and they are slightly more iritating than normal mirrors on roundabouts as they hide stuff behind them but a) the dash lights dim for a resion, use it! I can see the digi clock reflecting on the windscreen too in simular light levels - aren't head up desplays usally expencive options? b) move your head and blindspots go away leaving fantastic mirrors that see all - problems solved! (mine are proper T3 ones with the mirror heads inbord).
