Post by fried chicken »

Can anyone identify this part of the coolent system, 1988 T25, 1.9 DF code engine, it should have a plastic prt sticking up from the middle but it has snapped off, need to get a new one tomorrow (thursday) if poss, I guess it will be a main dealer part.
Thanks

Looks like the outlet flange from the right bank cylinder head (when viewed from behind and above) . Later (or 2.1) ones were metal

I Doubt you will get one from a main dealer anymore, I recently bought one from www.justkampers.co.uk , not the cheapest part in the world but if you need one,,,,you need one simple as....

Plastic ones use an 'O' ring, metal ones tend to suit a proper gasket which isn't supplied with the ones JK send out. (so you will have to fabricate one).
