Carefull Kev, dont quote a weight of an engine as it might be wrong... Say "I think" or "approximately"

From recent ( ) memory I would guesstimate in the region of about 70 kg (ish) for the short motor .... i.e. without ancillaries. It's more the bulk that's the handling problem in my experience and handles are few and far between.

It's moveable on your own but only if your used to lifting and with no-one in the way from A to B. Most couriers will require it to be on a pallet ... they can't 'do' over 25kg 'cos of manual handling regs and insurance.

a bare waterboxer weighs around 150lb, 70kg, exhaust and ancillaries add about 35-40lb, will usually go half pallet rate, sometimes quarter if they are generous on the 60cm height.

big bunch 'o' girls! Its not heavey..... blimey, you all veggies or sommats?
Last time i had one couriered it was £50 palletised, but cheaper if you have a general haulier nearby, who will( or would before donkey fuel went silly(er) ) take a palletised anything as long as it is delivered to the haulage yard for £25 a pallet space, worth a ring...........
