Great job Pete.

Glad you stuck in there through all the neighsaying and moaning.

A fabrication job as complex as this takes time to do right and you seem to have been faithful to the original (better than?) and achieved a well finished end product too.

Simon (Baxter) has done the same with his AAZ kit and I just want to say that I hope you make your money back as far as the time and effort you have invested in them.

Product-wise, I can't see why not. They're cracking!

When the bolt/screw is being tightened it experiences both
tension and torsion. The effect of this is that the
bolt/screw will fail at a lower force then if only a
directly applied force is applied. Higher the thread
friction value, higher will be the induced torsion and lower
will be the direct force that results in fastener failure.

NOTE

bolt breaks on tightening, it is obvious that a replacement is
required. Thread stripping tends to be gradual in nature. If
the thread stripping mode can occur, assemblies may enter into
service which are partially failed, this may have disastrous
consequences. Hence, the potential of thread stripping of both
the internal and external threads must be avoided if a reliable :lol:

You either have a degree in metal engineer and fabrication or your a sales man for nuts and bolts. :lol:

In my haste to look at your product i missed the bit were Harrymann stated that it now has wrap around hinges, posted on brickyard.

To keep the thread going.....
All parts will be with me by the time I get back from holiday on wednesday.Steel stock is cut and drilled. 10 carriers are already spoken for. 20 available in either left or right. Will post pictures of final product, as soon as powder coated. :)
