which clutch? Should I?

Post by amazingdave »

Can't work out which clutch kit to order...

DG engine

WV2ZZZ25ZGG Chassis, so an '86

So, is it

http://shop.justkampers.com/product_inf ... ts_id/9169

or

http://shop.justkampers.com/product_inf ... ts_id/2625

And should I have a go myself? Done a normal T25, not too bad, but this is on my syncro.

Is it a lot more involved, what with the diff lock and prop shaft?

What should I expect as a bill if I get someone else to do it?

expect 4 -5 hours labour plus parts, doesn't matter which spec clutch really so might as well put in the 2.1 one which is what they did on the late 1.9s

Hi beaker,

I know I'm being a bit thick, but which of the 2 clutches above is it? or is it this one?

And is the procedure the same as a non syncro? i.e. does the box slide forwards once youve taken the prop off, or is it easier to drop the engine?

Nothing, all modern cars have it displayed in windscreen.
