MOT and rusty bits!

Post by Therunner »

Hi

Can anyone tell me if holes in what would be termed the battery tray areas - ie rear corners - would be an MOT failure?

Obviously I intend to see to these holes at some time in the future, but if I can put it off for a while it would be good - I hate welding and want to get bus in for an MOT as soon as I can, summers nearly here and shows and festivals are looming! :)

Thanks

Melvin

I think if it is not external (ie passerby could cut themselves on it) you should be OK. get a shed load of waxoyl on it and leave it. my forward edge of one of the trays has passed numerous MOT'S like this. try and reduce the water coming in the airvents by one of the following methods
