hi
have just bought a 88 trident, the speedo works but the milage is not moving. any ideas?

a spot of superglue on the end of the blue cog on the end where it joins the shaft, should solve it........ be gentle taking it to bits tho.....although you have not a lot to loose, its no good as it is!

You'll be lucky
I've repaired several like this, basically the gear starts moving on the shaft and drops out of mesh.
OooPer glue repairs them for a bit but everyone I've done has failed again within a matter of months.
Replacent head I'm afraid.
