Very compact with ultra-short intake and exhaust tracts...

And Mountain Dew, rather than coffee, was the engineers' preferred beverage during the meetings, which stretched into many late evenings.

The diesel benchmark is the audi v8, no diesel is anything like as quite or smooth.

I must say I'm impressed by the way GM threw away the rule book with that V8 design though. Standard output is 310hp, 705Nm, and 68hp/l, what do Audi manage ?

Yes... The GM engine mainly targets packaging and inlet/exhaust tract optimisation but there's some other intersting stuff in there too (allegedly), yet to be announced.

Change it to diesel and you will do it quicker 138kph is pathetic, my td does more than that in third.
