I don't think anyone was trying to be smart, I think there is a general lack of knowledge of what is available & where from.

A lot of jobs on a Syncro are being done for the first time by their owners & many of the parts are not on the shelf. The whole point of having a dedicated forum is to allow others access to information.

I for one can build a VW Beetle with no trouble at all, but the syncro is a learning curve. To some people the Beetle is a mystery. It's just what you know.

I didn't know your company existed until I came here, so it could be of good use to me in the future. Don't take business personally, I have to put up with people comparing prices all of the time...

Sorry. I was just trying to advice people where the cheapest place I'd found to buy these boots.

As I would hope others on here would do for me as with a wife, 2 kids & a mortgage I need all the advice I can get to keep these old buses on the road.

Glad to see you're now offering even better value to our fellow syncronauts. But I do resent being called a smart a*** for it.

That's what you get in a kit.

  • A tough, nylon boot, as per VW, it even has Loebro cast into it, it is to all intents and purposes a genuine boot.
    2 clips.
    Grease (16" has 2 sachets)
    Hub nut.
    joint to shaft clip.

Looks like I just sold out, more on their way though.

Good work fella. The saga is finally solved. We know where to come now without all the donkey work.

I was getting nowhere & I know where to shop ;)
