Worst job ever on a syncro

Post by syncropaddy »

I thought it was taking the front drive shafts out with knackered CV joint bolts on the diff but no, its taking out the diesel tank!! Broken straps and sheared off bolts ....... :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Now I gotta fabricate a set of tank straps

You don't "have to" fabricate, unless you want to:

Stainless steel and all:

Problem with the tank straps was the bolts shearing off as well as one being rotten. Ill fit a new pair and work on the sheared bolts with a rivi-nut gun
