Are t2 heat exchangers (2l Aircooled) suitable for t3 2l CU?

Big lumps of metals and spanners.

As above really. One's ending local on Ebay V. soon and could be the answer to my MOT woes.

Anyone know?

Linky linky

Looks a bit different, but I know the backboxes are interchangeable with these engines and our's (well at least I thinks anyway).

heat exs for CU

Post by cumbriankeith »

Fraid not - that one is for a bay lump - the tops where they meet the heads are sticky uppy and on CUs they need to be flat - look at the JK site for some pics and compare the gaskets

And the hot air ducting for cab heat is completely different, too.
