Syncro mutant project (with pics)
Bored of websites and I needed to document the Syncro build so I am having a crack at this Blog malarkey.
Its probably going to end up like a mini-mirror of this forum with me rambling on about engines and tyres etc but I plan to give it a go.
Have a look (and post a comment if you like) at my first few posts.

Time for a photo update so here are a few pics of the Bling-cro getting tidied. Enjoy!
Being gutted for forthcoming work:

Load bed removed:

Sill and door post repairs:

2wd fuel filler blanked:

Rear end panels being fitted and prep:

Rear wheel test fit:

Locker/bed rails after rust protection and primer:

Front panel tidying:

Locker tidied and sealed:

Rear end in primer/seams resealed:

New load bed, rear apron and bottom panels fitted and sealed:

Another update over the next few days when I hope to see it all in its first primer coat. [:D]

Lovely, looks like you're doing it 'properly' - going to be a cracking truck...

I'm also planning a resto on a syncro doka, (panels ordered). It's basically a seam rust problem with some more advanced rust on the rear side panels. The load bed in this one is fine, (checker plate covered) but will need to be removed for access to the side panels? Would be interested to know any problems you came across. What seam sealant are you using?
Keep up the good work - it'll all be worth it in the end!!
Cheers
Brian
