It's never to late in the year to camp, I went away last night 31st/1st of dec. I camped on a farmers field in lymm regus (sorry crap spelling) just gave him a knock and offered a 5r.
My advise for what you need would be.....
A gas light (for outside van) when your sitting drinking wine/beer/ale
washing up liquid (people always forget this)
blankets+++
Tin opener/bottle opener/cork screw
a roll of tissue paper
A porta potty (a must with kids)....or anyone with I.B.S
Gas bottles
check your spare tyre
dont be to scared to ask farmers if you can camp on there land (some great views) and farmers are always happy for a few extra£££
A fold down basket thingy for taking your washing up to the tap.

im sure theres tons more but I cant remember.Oyeh enjoy and welcome :wink:
Sherlock.
