I will be attempting this process in the next couple of weeks with the 'Grumpy Midgets' brothers T25 Devon roof, and replacing it with a high top of his choice.
There is no way I wil;l be using your common or garden silicone bathroom/ instant gasket sealant, it will have to be an adhesive sealer usually found at your local bodyshop suppliers.

PS, clean off any shyte/ grease water or it simply won't do the job you require.
