Does 'er indoors work for MFI by any chance? :)

I've always wondered who was to blame for the drawings that look nothing like what you are trying to assemble......and then there's the instructions written in Hieroglyphics.

Kathy,

we have just built the rnr bed from plans....They were all in german, and we only had a little bit of fiddling around to do when offering it up to the van.

I was really chuffed that it worked at all!

If there is anything I learned.....3 measures, one cut!!

The worst bit was getting the hinges bolted onto the upright supports in the right place. Had a couple of attempts, but got there in the end, with the assistance of a dob of paint on the end of a piece of wire to mark the position of the final hole....

But it works!!

Good luck

Thanks Emma,
I'm still in two minds whether to build one with JK hinges or to buy a bluebird one with the metal tubing. Not looking forward to drilling into the van though... don't want to drill into anything i shouldn't!

No but her company does supply MFI I think (and they also do Instructions for other companies furniture too) so it could well be her fault although there instructions are pretty good
