Hi, had a look through various topics on here, but when I am replacing tail gate gas struts, I have locked the gate open, removed the bottom fitting with the cir clip, removed the little pin and clip thing on the gate end mount but still cant get the bugger off. At this point, should it unclip and h...

Re: Body Work and Mechanic recommendations - Hampshire

Hi,
Try Sandydown Bodyworks, we have used them on a car and it was good. One day the van will go there too. (0)1264 810 757.

Not far from Winchester. Not sure if they service though.

Fixed!!! Thanks for all the advice, in the end it was an assembly problem. A couple of splines out on the shaft that comes out of the gear box fixed the 1st and third problem, and I hadnt put a washer on the nut that holds the bracket on to the splined shaft, The nut digs in and the bracket is then ...

Yes, I will try and take some, trouble is the camera gets covered in oil. I did succeed in making it worse yesterday, but I think I know what it is. If I select 3rd with a spanner, then the gear shift locks up, it looks like the double nylon ball thing and its cup have gone "too far" and o...

Hi I read in one of your posts that you had fitted a set of saab seats, I have a set that I bought without measuring the rail width on the assumption etc etc, but they are 3 inches wider. Did you find this, or have I bought something completely different, ie useless? Obviously, this serves me right,...

Im after tips and hints that are not in the manual, ie, best way to support the engine, any dos and donts that are not apparent, funny tools required all that sort of thing, having never attempted this before.

Clutch replacing

Hello , its almost time to swap my clutch, I have the new one, all I need now is some instructions / hints. Im doing it without removing the engine, so the manual is only a partial help. its a 2.0l AC.

Any advice welcome.
