Cab Mats for 1.6TD?
Hi Does anyone know who does 3 piece cab mats for the 1.6TD shell? I saw these https://fatbobsemporium.co.uk/collections/t25-rugs/products/t25-3-piece-cab-rug-set-with-vw-logo which I liked but I'm unable to get hold of Bob to ask if they are suitable as I guess they are for the more common shell. C...

Where can I get one of these?
996C1111-77C8-4BC8-9D25-628A54D18D9E.jpeg Hi guys Been trying to figure out where I can get a repair part for the bit that links the rear platform tray to the inner rear panel. It’s only the bottom part that’s gone so could probably make a piece but rather put a proper one in. Can’t seem to find it...

What's the best polish for Rustoleum ?
Anyone had good results with a particular polish when applied to faded Rustoleum ?
Our Rustoleum finished van seems to suffer from colour fade after a while, but a day with the T-cut and Mer does the trick for about a month (2weeks mid summer).

Cambelt tensioner stud replacement
Hi all, Has anyone ever had to replace one of these? http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr303/jacko134/P1060852.jpg Its a cambelt tensioner stud from an AAZ 1996 1.9td which is in my T25. Had to do the head gasket, and as I was setting the timing, I could feel the threads pulling. As you can see the...

Re: Jx turbo leaking oil
Hi mate, mine did that early last year after an AAZ swap. Thought it was the seals and considered having it reconned but still ran it!! After a couple of decent runs it cleared up and has been fine since.
I'm not saying that is your problem, but mine was stood for 3 months while I did the conversion.

Recommended turbo specialists in South Yorkshire?
Evening all. I'm getting engine oil dripping from the joint between the downpipe and silencer on my recently installed 1.9td. I will be conducting a compression test to eliminate blow by crankcase pressure, but I think that the new oil pump is giving my original KKK K14 turbo more oil than it can co...

Re: AAZ injection pump fitment problems! Help Please! With Pics!
Yes, you are right, some guidance was offered but it was for the pump that Baxter said was no good! Sorry  Anyway I remember seeing the marks on the spindle when I fitted one of Baxters lever kits. I followed the instructions regarding not letting the bottom lever move on the spindle while fit...

Harrymann wrote, After all the help and suggestions it might be nice to say a bit more about 'how' exactly you have sorted it... so others can benefit too! All sorted now, I just needed a pulley 028 130 111C for it all to line up. The excellent ray365 off the brickyard sorted me out. :ok No one on ...

Re: Crankshaft bolt, oil or stud/thread lock?
No, not missunderstood! Clearly I said I'm replacing my crankshaft bolt and crankshaft pulley on my 1.9 TD, both bought from Brickwerks. I've done enough searching to know that they need replacing. The wiki says and loctite it. But on the pack it shows oil on the threads. Oil and Loctite are not the...

Oil pressure switches?
Which oil pressure switch do I need? I'm currently doing an 1.6 TD to AAZ conversion and I want to replace the oil pressure switches while I'm about it. I had a black one on the head and a black one on the filter housing on the 1.6. But a blue one on the head and a grey one on the filter housing on ...

Re: Crankshaft bolt, oil or stud/thread lock?
Cheers fellas, just wasn't sure as I had read in the wiki https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Parts_-_Crankshaft that:- As a precautionary minimum, on any engine with the old (hex) bolt, fit a new (modded, 12-point) bolt and loctite it. Use the correct Part No. and tightening procedures Rebuild Part Nos and...
