Found my mystery intermittent current draw, starter motor for me. went for a drive today and when I came back the meter was showing 14/15 amp draw, it was previously 00. Disconnected fuses in turn then alternator, still showing a draw. removed starter positive wire and meter was 0.00 looks like a ne...

I am having the same problem with mine. came out one morning and it was flat, charged it up and it was ok for a week.
then, flat again! I am now connecting it when I drive it and disconnecting it when not.
I will keep my eye on this thread to see if you find a solution to our problem.

just to add my thoughts, after reading this thread i called in to see pam and ordered new cushions for my van. they are fantastic and like others i highly recommend pluss for their quality and service.

used black waste tube on mine from my local caravan place. ribbed on the outside so the oil does not build up inside. goes brittle after a couple of years but at £2 a metre its cheap.

yes its an odd one but my coolant has changed from nice blue to mucky purple, is it exhaust gasses getting into the system? or something else.

could be one of the core plugs leaking, there are three of them under there. had the same trouble with mine when i first bought it, have a feel under there you should feel where they are. if it is then its manifold off and replace all three(garage did mine)good luck...

so chaps let me get this right, to change my "panel van" to a camper i just send in the v5 with those wonderful words and they send it back as a 2 axle rigid body motorcarvan. no questions asked no trip to local office for them to check!

thanks for that, off to do a google search for polyurea grease. had a good look under the van at the linkage and it seems easy enough to drop the cup. rather than seperate the front and back rods at the spline would it be possible to split the uj joint instead therefore not upsetting the spline sett...

i take your point harryman, so as i would be unbolting the rear bushes to drop the shaft it would be worth splitting it and changing the rear bushes as well. im'e of to study my haynes again! thanks for your replies everyone.
