Hi, thanks for the info. I'm gonna stick with the stock set up and will be ordering a pair of pods from just kampers. Only problem is that one of them is on back order at the moment! While we are on the subject, where is the best place to get the flexi ducting that connects to the heater pods as tha...

Heater control boxes

Hi,
Does anybody know where I can get a pair of heater control boxes for a '81 2L A/C.

They are the boxes that connect / control the hot air from the heat exchangers into the van heating system.

Mine have rusted away to dust!

Thanks

Mmm,
thinking about it, the bottom of the connectors didn't feel rough / snapped so maybe they have just come out of their grommits in the tank.

I'll try pushing them back home before I go on a scrapyard challenge!

Thanks

Fuel tank breather connections

Hi all, filled my van with petrol to the brim yesterday for the first time during my ownership and found out i have a major leak! I have traced the leak to the breather pipe assembly, and I know what parts I need but I'm not sure where to get them from. The parts are the two 3way connectors that sit...

Just wanted to know the start up proceedure for the gas, and it's handy to have a user manual just in case!

I have the fridge up and running now on 12V an gas. Gas gives the best results though.

Yeah looks like that's what I've got. The only thing that threw my is that the person who wired it up has used 2 completely different relays - a standard 4 pin and a huge 6 pin relay??

Sounds similar to mine except i have trouble getting into 1st, but by pushing the lever back into second before going to first the problem can be bypassed. According to the previous owner (I have only had the van a week) the problem is to do with the linkage under the van - apparently it should be p...

Think your right, spent a few hours drawing out the circuits. The first relay allows the fridge to work on 12V if the fridge switch is on and the engine is running.
The second relay allows the leisure to link into the charge circuit.

Water system problems

Hi, a few questions for you people in the know! Water pumps - Where do I get a replacement 12V water pump to feed the sink tap? all the ones I have seen are submersible ones, but the one in mine is an in-line pump located behind the fridge. Water filler cap - The water filler cap for the fresh water...
