Water system problems

Post by spod_rod »

Hi,
a few questions for you people in the know!

Water pumps - Where do I get a replacement 12V water pump to feed the sink tap? all the ones I have seen are submersible ones, but the one in mine is an in-line pump located behind the fridge.

Water filler cap - The water filler cap for the fresh water tank is a lockable unit, but I do not have the key - where can I get a replacement unit from?

Thanks!

Filler cap fitting is a standard part used on most camper/motorhome/caravan conversions.

Try www.rainbowconversions.co.uk for those, they will probably have a pump as well. They do fast mail-order.

update - Just had a look at Rainbow, look in "water and waste" section, they have all manner of pumps, and the water filler is right at the bottom of the page.
Keep it real.

Thanks,
just been on their web site and the filler cap is the daddy I'm after - can't see the pump yet but I'm sure it's there somewhere!

We got an in-line pump off ebay, it's a Whale 991 (aka GP9955).
