Re: Llyn Peninsula recommendations
Llanbedrog on the way to Abersoch is very nice with a lovely National Trust beach (multi coloured beach huts) and fantastic walk around the headland (look out for the iron man :x ). Campsite called Bolmynydd at Llanbedrog but it is up a steep and narrow lane  and another good campsite about a...

Re: Where would you go?.. or have you been?
Hi yeah the beach is lovely and just below the sites. It is quite a small beach (not like say Broad Haven or Newgale) but is mostly sandy with rock pools. Normally not too busy either. One of the sites has an organic/free range shop open in season, they do their own eggs and cheese and sell other lo...

Re: Where would you go?.. or have you been?
Can't speak for the others, but the Caerfai campsites (there's two of them) are exposed all right. But idyllic. Last 3 times I have been to St Davids have been really windy....and go there fairly often. But you could be luckier than me!

Re: Campsite suggestions in Anglesey or North Wales
Hi i would try Bodfan Farm at Rhosneigr in the north west corner of Anglesey. Campsite split into field with marked pitches and ehu and a larger open field where you can pitch where you want. Facilities are a bit basic but clean. Lovely views over the island from some parts of the site and only a sh...

Re: Wales campsites
Hi, there is quite a nice campsite called Nant Mill which is in Prestatyn and virtually next door to Rhyl where you are going. Prestatyn Hillside is almost directly behind the campsite with some lovely walks and a nice pub in Gwaenysgor. Close to sea and shops in Prestatyn and close to Rhuddlan Cast...

Also, the OH has reminded me that the boot section of the T25 (with the seat up) made a fantastic playpen and the little beggars couldn't escape (well not at first anyway)

Re: Camping with a toddler, methods of restraint and enclosure!?
We have 2 boys who have been camping with us in tents and campers since the older was 2 and the younger a very small baby. They are both very er...energetic, shall we say??? Some of the things that have worked for us in keeping them near the tent/van and out of the other campers' way have ...

Re: Caernarfon?
We have stayed at Sonwdonia Parc at Waunfawr a few times. Its a few miles inland but next to the Welsh Highland Railway so you could go to Caernarfon on the steam train. The campsite is fairly small and has fantastic views of Mynydd Mawr especially at sunset. Better still the campsite is run by the ...

Re: Overnight stop in Harlech?
Hi, there is a small site that only takes touring caravans and campers / motorhomes literally at the foot of Harlech Castle called Woodlands. It is a very small site but the facilities are spotless. You can walk up the lane (do not under any any circumstances try this in a T25 as it is very very ste...

Re: Wales for the first time
We have camped many times at Cae Du in Beddgelert. Right in the heart of Snowdonia and close to the coast. Well run and scenic campsite with lovely riverside walk into the village. Don't tell everyone though!

Re: Help me choose where to go next weekend
Have you tried ukcampsite.co.uk, we use that alot for ideas and find the reviews from real campers useful.
And there's also the funplace2be site specifically for T25 owners on the top of this forum!
Good luck on your trip!

Re: Is a pop top any good in the wind?
Our hightop problems in the past was wind and limitations in where we can park as hubby has to park in a multi storey for work which isn't ideal for a multi storey van! By the way, having a good excuse to post again on 80-90 is great...while we've been van less I have missed you guys.......thanks fo...

Is a pop top any good in the wind?
Hi, having had 2 high top vans in the past and are currently camper-less we are thinking of getting another T25 As we live and camp in windy Wales we are concerned a pop top (which would otherwise be easier to live with) might not withstand a breezy night! Has anybody had any problems with a fabric-...

Re: Dorset campsites
Have you looked at the campsite at Herston on the edge of Swanage. Last year we travelled down to Swanage to look at a camper and Toms Field was full. The site at Herston http://www.herstonleisure.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is within walking distance of Swanage a...
