If that is a voltage sensing relay as apposed to an alternator triggered relay you have for your split charge system then it may not behave correctly if you have it connected to a lithium leisure battery. What about adding a bead of weld to the b pillar .

Or the c pillar, or both. If it really is just 2 mm maybe it’s best to let the seam be a bit wider where it wants

Angle grind a well placed flat on the bolt head for one jaw of the mole grips to grip on might work though metal particles will be flying everywhere.
