Re: 1990 1.9 DG Waterboxer replacement rotor arm shorted out?

It could likely short to earth ie to the end of the distributor shaft.

The short path is from the center to the tip, where else can it short to?

Re: Adjustments to fridge panel fit

What about adding a bead of weld to the b pillar .

E D I T
Or the c pillar, or both. If it really is just 2 mm maybe it’s best to let the seam be a bit wider where it wants
to rather than risking distorting anything .

Re: Dashboard PCB Replacement (CJH Design)

ImageA very very  very big  WELL DONE for bringing this project back to life. This is a perfect example of 80/90 club at its best and fantastic that you are relatively new to the club and able to make this kind of thing happen.

Re: Lock barrel sticking

Is a worn key or worn wafers working in a less worn handle bore  a likely  culprit for this problem?

Re: Replacing CV Boots

Angle grind a well placed flat on the bolt head for one jaw of the mole grips to grip on might work though metal particles will be flying everywhere.

Beware new gaiters may not last very long compared to originals.
