Re: Pulling to one side
Checked all the above and no issues. Am thinking it must be something to do with the electric power steering but as I don't know how it works am at a loss as to where to start looking for a problem.

Pulling to one side
Last week the van started to pull gently to the right. If left untouched the steering wheel will slowly turn and send the van into a gentle right turn. I checked tyre pressures, all ok. The van has electric power steering fitted, I was wondering if this could be anything to do with the gentle right ...

aaz injectors
i've been reading that there are two types of injector fitted to the aaz engine.single stage and two stage. i'm thinking that i needd to change my injectors (wont start easily without the "choke" pulled out and a bit of smoke) but how do i know what injectors to look for? Is there an easy ...

Recalibrating a Tacho
I've spent some time searching wikki and the forums but although i've found many references to recalibrating a tacho i cant seem to find an exact description. I have a standard 1.6 Td tacho but have an aaz fitted. At a guess i'd say the tacho now overeads by about 25%. Is there a simple adjustment t...

Re: Another buzzer of doom
Thanks. The most useful bit was the picture. All is now quiet, i've just got to find the "probable" dodgy connection!

Another buzzer of doom
First apologies, i've looked at wikki and cant find anything on the oil pressure buzzer, i expect i'm being thick, but where do i look. My problem is that i cant stop the buzzer going off . I've changed the senders, checked they are both turning off when the engine is running, so i assume there is o...

Re: 205 70 tyres
thanks for that. i also went back to the web and mytyres list 3 tyres. There seem to be plenty with a load rating of 95 but our vans need 98+ and it looks like these are getting rare (and probably expensive!)

205 70 tyres
Just trying to get a new 205 70 14 tyre for the bus and I cant locate any. Last year there seemed to be a limited number on the internet but there were some available, all of a sudden zilch. i've even asked a couple of dealers who say they cant locate any. Anyone any ideas where i might get one?

Re: Air in fuel
Started ok this morning so I guess i've masked the problem. this cost me £5 so I hope it saves the situation untill I can save up enough pennies to do a proper job.

Re: Air in fuel
new leak off pipes fitted 6 months ago and no diesel leaks so i guessthats not it. i'm reluctant to get involved with the pump, last time a rebuild cost me £400. Fitted the non return valve tonight so i'll find out if its any good tomorrow AM.

Re: Air in fuel
Thanks for the idea's I was thinking non return valve and maybe fuel filter with only two connections so return line goes straight back to tank.

Air in fuel
Help! I've looked in wiki but it doesn't help. My problem seems to be air getting in the diesel when left causing a lot of starter cranking before she goes. then all is fine untill I next stop, 10 minutes later the same problem. I thought it was probably the Thermo thingy on the filter so changed th...

Re: insurance help
Thats what i thought, so I sent them a 1.6 Td on sorn which went for £3000 on ebay, and they came back with" its not the same" so cant compare prices. Given the number in "how many left" the chances of something exactly the same being sold is unlikely

insurance help
Back at the end of march my syncro was written off.(i posted at the time) Now some three months later the insurance company are still trying to value my van at £1500! Despite evidence of similar vehicles going for at least £3000 they are being intransigent. Has anyone ever seen a working syncro mult...
