Recalibrating a Tacho

Post by mikeytar3 »

I've spent some time searching wikki and the forums but although i've found many references to recalibrating a tacho i cant seem to find an exact description. I have a standard 1.6 Td tacho but have an aaz fitted. At a guess i'd say the tacho now overeads by about 25%. Is there a simple adjustment to compensate? I know some Taco's have a screw on the back which will adjust the reading and others have little peg like things which you switch up and down to alter things, but i cannot see either on the tacho in my bus.
