Re: Cutting out - overheating???

I'm not sure what is causing it, but when it does cut out usually when stuck in traffic, it almost sounds like the battery is dead as it really struggles to turn over, then it will kick into life once left for a short while. I was questioning the overheating as I was driving back and just getting ho...

Cutting out - overheating???

Hi I've looked through the forums but not able to link anything with this issue. I have 1.9dg. Last year stuck in slow / standstill traffic for a good few hours. My van cut out and really struggled to start and felt a bit rough once finally going. Fast forward last week. Similar circumstances on the...

Hi all. Have a t25 1.9dg syncro. Need it serviced as it's cutting out and don't want to start messing with it myself.

So where do people go??? I live just outside of tamworth so closer the better.

Cheers

Re: ignition lead length

I took them off in sequence and the shorter one of the was stretched across and kinked a bit. So I have put the two shorter ones to the left of the engine and the longer ones to the right.

However still idling fine but stalls when try and pull off. Getting really F*****d off with it now !!!!!

However, the ones I have just bought the shorter ones are a good three inches shorter and don't reach the plug's!!! I purchased them from gsf as the correct ones for 1.9dg. So are these faulty or is are...
