Can you not just use a smear of sealant and no gasket? Being careful not to get it inside the groove?
Just a thought like.

Re: Alternator upgrade
CJH,
I am also looking to fit the larger 90 amp alternator from a 45 amp one and was just wandering if I need a different i.e. longer alternator belt or is the alternator physically the same size?
Just want to be prepared for arrival.
Many thanks, Mark.

Re: Interior opening of tailgate
All,
If the tailgate is locked, can you still use this magical handle to open the door or does the key lock inhibit the opening?
Thinking of doing this my self so keen to know.
Thanks.

Re: Acrylic Stone Guards for Square Headlights
Hey Guys,
Will this make production? If you knock out a few sets I'll be up for one.
Hope this goes well as replacing my lights would be expensive.
Good on you.

Re: Replacement engine survey
Can this mythical engine just be run with a set of Dellorto carbs?
Do I need to change my existing little ignition module? ( I only have a lowly 1.9DG, so no fancy ecu. )
Dreaming I know but you never know, maybe one day............ooh all that power, mmmmmm.

Hi All,
Buy the best cross linkage you can afford too! Getting them to open together and synchronised is half the problem,
You can have hours of fun just fiddling with them.
Oh and I just had the left hand mount bossed for the brakes and no issues, but mine isn't air cooled.
Have fun! Mark.

Re: Plasma gauge - Kph to Mph backlight style dial faces
Al, Just checked my petrol rev counter and it only goes to 6000 the same as your diesel one, the only difference I can see is that the red part is further round, starting at 5200. Maybe that's the only difference, could they paint it the same or is it too much trouble? Any chance of more pictures of...

Al,
Is there a set for petrol rev counter as well or just diesel version? If so I'm up for a set too, assuming you can get the needles to glow
Oh and instructions for idiots to follow!
Thanks, Mark.

Re: Alternative to seat switch on steering cowling???
James, That one does not look like it will fit in the hole, its too big, the other tiny one only fits with some adjustment with the scalpel! There isn't a lot of space in there to work with. Cruz, Here is a picture of how mine looks:- http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh136/marcus_asparagus/IMG_190...
