Anyone fitted anything else to the steering cowling where the heated seat switch is meant to be?

If so what did you fit and where did you get it please

Size is 40mm x 25mm

Hi Cruz,

I have inserted a temperature gauge in mine like this:-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Digital-Therm ... 4aa602f816" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It requires a bit of filing to fit but it goes in ok, then just routed the sensor to the outside via the door shut.

Works fine and is as cheap as chips, just like a posh car now.

Hope this helps, Mark.

Looks like it can only be powered by the two button batteries Cruz.

James,

That one does not look like it will fit in the hole, its too big, the other tiny one only fits with some adjustment with the scalpel!

There isn't a lot of space in there to work with.

Cruz,

Here is a picture of how mine looks:-

It only gives a guide to the temps really but it is fun all the same. Until the batteries go flat anyway, but they are so cheap just buy a couple.

Cheers, Mark.

I have the one that James linked to on the dash already

The temp may not be enitrely accurate marcus but it's better than an empty hole :ok

Hi Cruz, would it be possible for you to put up a pic or two of your gauge in situ please? I'd like to see it as I'm rather taken by neat little additions like this. Cheers.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
