Clutch bleed nipple thread size
I need to bleed my clutch but my bleed nipple is badly rusted. I could buy one online for a couple of quid, but there's a min. delivery charge and also I need it pretty sharpish. The local motor factors say that have loads in stock, but need to know the size. I've found out it's 6mm diameter and 28m...

Re: Waterpump issues
No, I haven't bled the top of the radiator.
I took out the heat switch at the bottom to drain it - and that's it.
I couldn't see any pipe / outlet at the top of the radiator.
Where would it be and what does it look like?
(Thanks for all your help, by the way...).

Re: Waterpump issues
I fitted the O ring and some Hermatite and it not leaking now. However, the white reservoir behind the number plate - seems to be always empty. I've only done around five runs in it, but at the end of a ten mile journey - I have to fill up the reservoir. It's not leaking water and there's not water ...

Re: Waterpump issues
Checked the thermostat, after I removed it and it works fine. However, the seal is still leaking.
Should there be an O ring that goes in here?

Re: Waterpump issues
Got a new water pump and housing for my T25 (it's got a 1.9 turbodiesel AAZ engine fitted), and noticed that the new water pump didn't have a thermostat. Anyway, I fitted the water pump without the thermostat and it's leaking water from where the plastic housing bolts on to cover the thermostat. So ...

Waterpump issues
I've got a T25 with the 1.9 turbodiesel AAZ conversion, and I noticed a few drops of water under the back end tonight. So I got underneath and noticed a small, but consistent leak from the water pump. Is it fixable or will I need to fit a new pump? If so, where's the best place to get one and is it ...

Re: Turbo oil feed pipe
Thanks dekhella - I've got a copper pipe now but it's hard to flare the ends properly for VW - as a specialist pipe company explained to me. Copper is weaker and prone to splitting - so steel is best. I'm wondering if something like this might do: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130945728849?ssPageName=ST...

Re: Engine number / code
Mines a much older engine and Google is saying anything about this.

Turbo oil feed pipe
I've got a T25 and it has been fitted with a Passat 1.9 turbo diesel engine - but I don't exactly which engine model. The oil feed pipe from the engine to the turbo has been replaced by a made-up copper pipe and today it cracked (again) covering the back of the van in oil and almost cooking my engin...
