I like using mineral so I would say yes to a 15w/40 mineral.
Cheers for that Kev, think I will go for the 15w40 mineral, any recommendations on manufacturer or are they all pretty much the same?

2.1dj knocking/tapping, sound recording,any ideas?
Hi all. Right, I started my 2.1dj up today as its not been run for a week or so. I now have a loud knocking / tapping which seems to be on the right hand side. I did an oil change about 3 weeks ago and put new 5w40 fully synthetic oil in and a new oil filter. The old oil was black as coal so needed ...

2.1 DJ Air leak- solved!
Just a bit of advice for anyone who may have an air leak on their DJ. My van was very under powered, popping in air inlet hose and felt like vanagon syndrome. I renewed the vacuum hoses on the dizzy, no joy, I then renewed the gasket seal that fits between the air throttle housing and the chamber. B...

Petrol leak, please read
Hi all. A few days ago we set off to Edinburgh for a few days. We set off and called at the local petrol station to fill up. I filled her up to the top when someone shouted to me that fuel was pouring out from underneath. This was the first time I had filled her up to the top for a long journey so h...

one 2 way consumer unit with 30ma 63Amp 240v incomer You sure, they are never more than 25A normally 16A Yes mate. You tend to find the 63Amp RCD is a bit cheaper and is less prone to nuisance tripping. It doesn't really make a difference so long as your RCD is rated above the incoming design curre...
