Wind your neck in, you silly little troll and learn to understand English. Thanks very much for your useful contribution to this thread. Now go back to your dictionary. To rephrase my original post: I'd be interested in your comments and feedback *if you are aware that we are living in the 21st cen...

Heaters? I won't use them. The human body generates it's own heat/ In my day we just rubbed two boy scouts together.

Oh, I see where you are coming from. I may be able to help. Does your ZX Spectrum have orientation sensors? No? Soz then.

All that has been pointed out is that the human body comes with it's own levelling device  , no wires, no batteries  , no internet etc. I won't use it - nor will I use one of those pieces of equipment that one would have to purchase to enable one to use same. Re: Android app for camper van levelling
Mick8y, Cliff and others, thanks for your support - but don't worry, I am not worried by the criticisms because none of the eejits have actually bothered to suss out what it actually is. AdrianC - I would very much like to know how big the steps on the Fiamma chocks are, that could certainly be a fe...

Thanks for giving it a go - I'm grateful for any suggestions as to how it should look and the ergonomics of how to change profiles, vans, and calibrate.

Re: Android app for camper van levelling
If you have a sense of balance and eyes you don't need anything else to know if you are level. Why do you need an aid to parking level? Well perhaps you are in a lucky minority who always finds a level space on which to park. The app doesn't help you. It does tell you how much to chock each wheel i...

You'll need to enter the wheelbase and track of your table and save it as a new vanCliffDutfield wrote:Just downloaded this. Look forward to testing it.
I might try it on the kitchen table first, that's always wobbling!
It will get it within a degree. Best of luck!

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into it. Maybe that phone doesn't have the orientation sensors.

Nothing wrong with that to tell you the van is tilting, but will that method tell you exactly how much to chock each wheel to get it level?

Morning! After parking the van on what seemed in the dark to be level, I sometimes wake up to find that my wife and I end up in the bottom corner of the bed and our breakfast slides down the table. Have you had this experience? I know I have. I may have developed the solution. I have written an appl...

Re: Getting stuck
We get the same thing - it's much worse trying to reverse uphill than go forwards, as weight transfer and simple gravity means the weight is off the driving wheels. I suspect off-road tyres wouldn't do much except churn up more gravel, as the problem is the friction between the gravel and the gravel...

Re: Wheel and tyre size dilemma
Thanks for your reply. What with spacers, load ratings, and uncertainty over the steering I have decided to just get a set of original VW steel wheels and sell the alloys to cover as much of the costs as possible. I'm not under any illusion that the brick is a sportscar
