So, say nothing and be happy that you are better than others and allow Noparadise to be given the credit for putting effort into some thing he has created and offered for free to other members.
Which some are grateful for.

Re: Android app for camper van levelling
Mick8y, Cliff and others, thanks for your support - but don't worry, I am not worried by the criticisms because none of the eejits have actually bothered to suss out what it actually is.
AdrianC - I would very much like to know how big the steps on the Fiamma chocks are, that could certainly be a feature I could incorporate. Actually, the app works in degree increments - the suggested measurements go up by about 43mm a time on a T25. Maybe I should do it in standard plank measurements as well as Fiamma steps!

You are - you have been very disdainful about a freebie that you can't use, won't use, don't understand, haven't tried, and haven't even bothered to actually work out what it does. Troll on, grandad.Oldiebut goodie wrote: Who is being negative and/or rude.

Thanks for this, I've downloaded it and will give it a whirl tomorrow.
Might be an improvement from the tried and tested method of rolling a tin of beans either way, on top to the kitchen work-top. Great, until it drops on your foot...

I give far more to this forum for free than you in your blinkered outlook could ever imagine.

In no way have I been disdainful or rude concerning your efforts - all I have done is pointed out that there is a ready made application that you use everyday to walk and stand upright. (or maybe not in a couple of cases here going by the invective

Obviously there are a couple here that do not understand banter and are trying to develop this into a fight over a perceived slight that is not present.
Do lighten up!!!!

, no wires,
no batteries
, no internet etc.
I won't use it - nor will I use one of those pieces of equipment that one would have to purchase to enable one to use same.[/quote]
Pray by what magic method dost one posteth upon here then

Re: Android app for camper van levelling
I use applications on a computer - not 'apps' on a 'smartphone', same as I have done since the mid 80's.

Oh, I see where you are coming from. I may be able to help. Does your ZX Spectrum have orientation sensors? No? Soz then.

Re: Android app for camper van levelling
Oldie but goodie,
I am certainly not after 'a fight'.
I also know that you have given so much for free to this forum.
I also know that compared to you my knowledge is 'blinkered' but again, no need to be rude about it!
My point was that this post was for another member to show off something he had done.
You don't need this app, you won't use this app so therefore don't need a negative comment.
If you had tried it and found fault your feedback would have helped to enhance the app.
As for lighten up! Pot and kettle come to mind. Night.

Re: Android app for camper van levelling
The point that I am making is that there was no negative comment - only a mis-perceived slight. Read what I have written carefully - there is nothing negative there whatsoever about the application.
Errrr.... cannot you understand the use of emoticons?

Thanks very much for your useful contribution to this thread. Now go back to your dictionary.Oldiebut goodie wrote:Wind your neck in, you silly little troll and learn to understand English.
To rephrase my original post:
I'd be interested in your comments and feedback *if you are aware that we are living in the 21st century and ideally have an android smartphone, otherwise please troll your homespun wisdom somewhere else*.
