Ok...thanks...but...when I mentioned the thread it's more like worm drive ...and the "thread" on the hose is the wrong way in fact..but the inside of the hose quite smooth anyway ( it's pond hose) ...I'm a puzzled as yo why westy even bothered with the thread at all on the tank...it seems ...

Westy water tank filler...
Hi, I have a westy water tank with a spigot sticking out for the filler hose...I recently bought a length of the hose brickwerks supply and was expecting the "thread" to match the one on the tank...is doesn't..and it leaks...also I have tried using silicone pipe on this and it still leaks....

I'm 99% sure I got a petrol PCB film of Vwnw Mick and used it on my van with the diesel tachometer...it worked fine..at least until I changed the alt for the biggest one I could get anyway,

If the arch is not rotten it is possible to remove a section and put it back....I did it recently and challenge anyone to spot the join!

The LT bracket holes can be slotted to allow the base to bolt to a T3 door ( don't drill the door...it's a bad move) or..as a better solution change the bracket for a proper T3 one...while your at it trim a bit (about 3/4 " from memory) of the tube and re drill the hole for the pin and the top ...

So by bolts you mean self tappers? I think I know what ian is referring to but not those..these need a proper metal fastener...maybe I will check ETKA..

What are they attached with as standard? I assume screws as getting a riveter in is not easy...but the holes in the pillar are bigger that the holes in the metal strips....so I assume the screw does actually go from the door side?

Green? That was G10...doubt if any of that is still around....G11 is blue...G12 purple and not compatible but G12+ is..G13 is in for life...and very good stuff...drain you full system..hose it out..suck it dry with a wet vac...dill it with water..do it all again...back flush the engine, rad and matr...

It says Volkswagen AG on the comission plate Actually built by AutoEuropa which is/was joint owned by ford and vw...not sure who had the biggest shares etc but ford used vw engines in a lot of galaxy's but no sharans had ford engines...actually not a bad MPV but the interior was very ford looking a...

That's debatable...I prefer the diesel shazzer over all the other options as a doner...the inconvenience ecu is under the passenger seat area ...and are very susceptible to water ingress...I remember doing these on brand new ones delivered with puddles in them!
